Checkin' the Weather
Some people were talking about certain weather conditions at school today, so I decided to check the weather instead of finishing my physics homework (which I will still do, just not yet...)
Anyway, it's really fun to see a bunch of below-freezing and just barely above freezing temperature highs projected. ^_^ Also, my county has a winter weather advisory from 4 am to 1 pm Tuesday, telling us that certain weather conditions could lead to, oh, I dunno, icy roads and low visibility.
Who knows, maybe my school district will actually care this time and let us all stay home... Or maybe they'll just call a delay AFTER all the high school students have already gone to school so that the delay's just for everyone but the high school students. Seriously, why call a delay after the high school students have already started, when it's the earliest, usually the coldest, and therefore when the ice is the worst? Not that I actually noticed the ice until I actually got to school and stepped onto the parking lot. Still, showing a little consideration for students' safety wouldn't hurt.
But honestly, whatever reasoning I come up with, even so soon after returning from a break, I (and most of the school) just want a day off from school. What else is new?
