Things I Got in the Mail Last Week
I really like having mail to look forward to. ^^

Yes, I bought the BABYMETAL album, and yes, I really enjoy listening to it. My only complaint would be that most of the album is songs they've already released already, like all their singles and B-sides, with not many new songs.
Garcon Girls is a really interesting magazine! I found it because Fudanjuku appeared in it, and I bought it because I figured that if I'm going to like looking at people cross-dressing and people with androgynous presentation so much, I should... look at them more? Sorry, that sounded weird. It made sense in my head. It ended up being more educationally oriented than I was expecting, but it was fun to look through it, and it should be fun to read more of it.

I ended up getting this order way later than expected because even though YesAsia had it available for order, they almost couldn't find Okada no Hanashi... But I'm glad they eventually found it. It's a collection of essays Okada wrote for anan, and I'm really excited to start reading it.Nevermind the other Japanese books I haven't finished reading yet.
I also got my certificate for passing the N1 of the JLPT last week! I don't think I mentioned passing it before on LJ, but I did, somehow. Even after looking at the results online, I half-wondered if it was some kind of mistake and I didn't actual pass, but I have the certificate now and the official paper report.
Another big thing this week is, with the release of the Johnny's calendars, getting contact from CDJapan that they need to upgrade shipping for my order of Kisumai and Ebi's calendars (presumably because Kisumai's calendar is HUGE). >_< The shipping was just way more than I was willing to pay, so I decided to let the order be canceled and order through YesAsia instead, because even with YA's high-ish prices for the calendars, it's still less than paying for EMS shipping. But I'm a little worried because YA listed the availability for Ebi's calendar as "ships within 21 days" and I now have experience of YA's availability being... weird... sometimes. Let's just hope this all goes well and I can get both the calendars I want.

I didn't know Okada wrote a book! I'm so far behind on all V6-related news though. I haven't even checked out his drama he's been in. Or at least I think he's in. Idk how recent it is, I just always see dl links for it on my f-list. That's a nice photo of him on the cover though :)
Congratulations on passing the N1! That's big! Sorry if you already mentioned it and I just missed it, but did you hear back on how your JET interview went?

I didn't realize that he was releasing a book either until I noticed a note up on Johnny's net! I've only seen one episode of the drama he's in so far, largely because it's a period drama and that makes it harder to understand without subs.
Thank you! I won't hear back about JET until April.
