I feel like everything I post about is something I've been meaning to post about for a while and then finally do. ^^; Anyway, this is old news now, but with the stuff going on and worry about LJ, I finally made a dreamwidth account. This post is the first time I'm trying to post directly on DW and cross-posting on LJ. I'm not really sure things are going to actually change that much on LJ, but better safe than sorry, I guess and it's nice to have a back-up. I transferred all my LJ posts already, and I guess I'll work to make everything go up on both for the time being, which I guess is easiest to do by posting directly on DW and crossposting to LJ? IDK

I have the same username on DW as on LJ, but I'll post a link to make it easiest. Feel free to add me over there, but let me know first by commenting or messaging me or something if you are. I haven't done much with it yet, but it'd be nice if I can find people and communities and stuff.

This is even older news, but I have an AO3 account now too. I think I probably first set it up when I was on a Star Trek fic-reading binge or something and thought it would be nice to be able to comment and kudos under a username and bookmark stuff? I don't remember. But I finally got around to reposting all the fic I had posted on LJ back in April. I say that like it's a lot and not a relatively small number. I also posted this old-ass fic I wrote when I was still in high school that I had maybe never posted publicly on the internet before. It's over 9 years old, but it's somehow the longest fic I have up orz

I also found some practically finished fic I had just sitting around never posted in my hard drive, mostly back from when I was still into Kisumai, and went and posted that on AO3 too. For the record, receiving kudos on AO3 is about as nice and affirming as I was expecting it to be xD There's some more unfinished stuff back from my Kisumai days that it's highly unlikely I'll ever get back to, and I'm still unsure about maybe just throwing that up online too. Well, all of this happened because April saw me getting back into a fic-writing mood for the first time in maybe over a year? So I've been working on a few different Ebi fics (because apparently I'm all over the place) that I'll hopefully be able to post in the near future. Don't know yet whether I'll mainly just post new fic on AO3 or keep posting it on LJ (and DW now) first.

So that's two more places on the internet to find me. I've updated my profile with them too so hopefully people can find that info about me whenever.

One thing I really wanted to do after I got an office job is paint my nails more, and I'm working on that! My company's annual holiday party is tomorrow and I painted my nails for it:

Maybe if I paint my nails more and more often it'll get easier to paint them without getting polish all over the surrounding skin ^^; I had bought a few new nail colors and I was holding back on painting my nails even though I was excited about it because I wanted to have it fresh to show off at the holiday party. I also bought top-coat and used it for the first time. I feel like such a beginner when it comes to nails. I'd never used a top-coat before and so it would always start to chip off in a day or two orz. But the top-coat I used made my nails look really finished and polished! I'm also really stretching myself and using an effects top-coat for an accent nail. It was a lot harder to work with than I was expecting! I'm also afraid that the stars will come off the first time I wash my hands or something; I'm so nervous.

I am excited for the holiday party itself, for a chance to hang out with coworkers a little casually (?) and to see them wearing fancy clothes and stuff o(^^)o But I'm also a little worried about it because it's 5 hours long (?!) and that's a long time to spend socializing with people, most of whom I don't really know all that well... I don't understand why it's scheduled for so long. Is there really gonna be so much going on that I won't feel bored or stressed? I'll see. >_<

Pretty much ever since the DVD for A.B.C-Z's Early Summer Concert came out and I watched it, I've been in a big Ebi mood. ♥ Ebi always puts on such great performances and puts so much work into everything they do. It makes me even sadder that they've been kind of neglected. :/ But they still make the best of it and do their own thing and ugh they're so good. T_T But it got kinda bad last night when I was struck with inspiration for Ebi fanfic and couldn't sleep. I stayed up like 3 hours later than I really should have, as if I don't already feel inexplicably sleepy most days and have trouble sticking to my self-set bedtime. ^^; But I guess the good part is that I actually started writing some stuff down, including bits of Fuuma/Fumito fic! I've actually had a plot in mind for a Fuuma/Fumito fic (yeah I ship that and yeah only half of that ship is Ebi, I know) for months now, and it'd be great if I could be struck with inspiration enough to even write a full draft for it xD I also thought of an idea for a HashiTotsu fic, but man...

I feel like I need a fic writing cheerleader/light beta? Sometimes I want a sounding board for my fic ideas and I often feel like I have an idea that I think is really cool only to doubt most of it shortly later. But at the same time I feel like my stuff isn't worth it because I pretty much just write ficlets and drabble-y stuff... Which is just more of me devaluing my own work, huh? :/ But primarily English-speaking Johnny's fandom is small and it gets even smaller when you narrow it down to people who like the same groups and ships you. IDK

I also got my copies of the new JWEST album this week, and I'm really enjoying it! I miss posting thoughts posts about Jpop releases and stuff on here, so I'll try to write a post just about it. For now I'll say that I really like this album for the most part. ^_^

I think it was back on... Thursday? that my copies of Legend Story and my copies of ABC Za 2013 digest came.

Legend Story )

I really really like both music videos. If Ebi ever makes a bad or mediocre music video, I will be shocked. They're always so focused on making great performances, it really comes through to the finished product. ♥ And for Legend Story, they even had fans appear again! In the making, with Tottsu talking about how the staff, like the camera people and the lighting people, all the people they work with actually have it the hardest (and in this case, that included the fans who joined in), how Ebi actually have it the easiest, even if it looks like it's hard on them because they're the ones in front of the camera, and with Ebi greeting the fans and saying that this time, they didn't think of them as "fans" but as "costars" appearing with them, I cried some watching the making. ♥

It was really cool that they used the costumes from the drama for the Bokura no Kotae Here We Go video! Although probably partially because of that, it looked so hot, as in, Tottsu looked like he was sweating through all the dance shots. xD And most of the rest of them, their faces at least all looked a little sweaty from time to time.

I think of the songs from the bonus CD this time, BIG STAR made the biggest impression on me. It was kind of like they were telling the story of A.B.C-Z through the song. ♥

Johnny's Densetsu )

I gotta say, I'm pretty interested in Johnny's history, but! The story of the Johnny's going to America, meeting famous people, and recording songs isn't a piece of Johnny's history I'm all that interested in... I kinda knew it was a story I wasn't particularly interested in when I bought the DVD though, so I knew Part 1 was something I'd have to endure a little. The song and dance performances were all cool though! And it was pretty fun to see Tottsu play so many different characters. xD

It felt like most of the stuff that got cut to make this a "digest" got cut from Part 2... that, is, the parts I was most interested in. >_< I would've liked to see more about Four Leaves and Shounentai, but alas. (Then again, I am sad if Shounentai is brought up without a performance of Kamen Butoukai. I just really like Kamen Butoukai.) The A.B.C-Z legend part was my favorite part, and seeing the part where they showed Hasshi really struggling to keep up and the other members being strict/harsh with him brought tears to my eyes. But one thing I noticed watching the Ebi Legend part... and one thing I notice watching Ebi things in general is... damn do Hasshi and Tottsu stare at each other a lot! xD Like every time they look at each other, it's a long, meaningful look or something! ♥ HashiTotsu ♥

Anyway, overall I'm glad I bought the ABC Za 2013 DVD because I really enjoyed part two of the musical, and the Ebi medleys. The 5 Rings performance alone probably would have made it worth it.
xanithofdragons: (Yokoo nekomimi)
Since we're about half-way through the year now, I thought I'd take a look back at the list of fandom Johnny's-related things I hoped would happen this year (see here) and see how things have turned out at the half-way mark.

cut for list )

Speaking of A.B.C-Z no Ienai yo, that reminds me of an interesting list I found in the July issue of Popolo. There was a whole big section about Johnny's variety shows, including reader rankings, and one of the rankings was "Variety shows you want to see again". The rank was as follows (I'm not familiar with all of these shows, so sorry if I romanize something weird):
1. You Konto Shichainayo
2. Kiss My Fake
3. Gakkou e Ikou
4. Kanpani
5. Arashi no Shukudai-kun
6. Yanyan JUMP
7. Himitsu no Arashi-chan
8. A.B.C-Z no Ienai yo
9. 8ji da J
10. Soukon

I am pretty glad other fans liked A.B.C-Z no Ienai yo enough to list it here. I am also not at all surprised at You Konto Shichainayo making it. I really hope they make it a yearly or semiannual thing! There's a lot of really popular older Johnny's shows on the list too. ♥ The only one I don't get is Kiss My Fake being on there, especially in the #2 spot, since I found that show so boring I stopped watching after a few episodes, but there are a lot of Kisumai fans, and a lot of Kisumai fans would be regular Popolo readers, so *shrugs*.
xanithofdragons: (Yokoo nekomimi)
I made an account at goodreads.com! I'm always wanting to read more, so a place where I can keep track of books I've read and books I want to read AND get book recommendations sounds pretty sweet. So if you're using it and want to share book recs or something or just be friends there, please comment or message me! And I feel like I should let you know that I decided to make an account while looking up lesbian mystery novels because this information is so important. xD

In fandom news... *sigh* I was already strongly leaning towards not buying it, although some kind of miracle in the track-list could have changed my mind. But alas, a miracle did not happen. Kisumai's management seems set on changing absolutely nothing and making absolutely zero progress ever, so I don't even want to support it all anymore. And since, with the debut of Johnny's WEST, I was feeling like I might need to hold back somewhere else anyway, well, Kisumai, if you're going to disappoint me every time anyway... I'll spend my money on groups that don't make me sad. Ugh, sometimes I feel like WataTai is the only part of Kisumai I really like anymore. >_<

Ah well, I do have Ebi releases to look forward to this summer. ♥ I did ultimately decide to buy the Johnny's Densetsu digest DVD since I do want to watch more Johnny's musicals. And I actually ordered two versions of Legend Story. ^^;
xanithofdragons: (Nocchi blue)
So it's been announced that Ebi will be starring in a drama series this summer! \(^_^)/ I'm really happy for them, because this means more chances for them to get their name out there and become better known, and if they sing the theme song, that could mean another new release from them! But, at the same time, I'm a little worried whether I'll actually like the drama. >_< I like hero drama well enough, but I fear that the fact their powers are related to their sexual inexperience and the echhi nature of the drama will turn me off from it. I mean, it looks like it's been well thought out, and they even made their powers connected to the five senses, so it has the potential to be quirky and fun. But on the other side of things, it also has the potential to be gross and sexist (what doesn't though?). >_< I mean, I've seen things that handled sexuality in a comedic way and were actually funny, but I feel like I've seen more comedies handle sexuality in ways that are really... juvenile. Oh well, if it ends up bad, I hope it's at least more juvenile and careless than gross and sexist, but I do want it to be actually funny and good!

On that note, I think I'll do my "dramas I'm watching this season" post now. We're only 2-3 episodes in, but there's already a lot I want to say about them!

Possible spoilers )

That's all the dramas this season I've checked out. There're a couple more I might watch, but I haven't decided yet.
xanithofdragons: (jadetea)
I've been a bit busy to make a post about it, but I got my copies of Ebi's album on Thursday! I was really exciting about receiving packages in the mail two days in the row. It's kind of funny to see how different the travel times can be for items shipped through the same service though. ^^;

Pictures )

I'm really happy with this album. It was getting late at night and I was tired during my first listen, but I kept thinking that I had to get to the second disc and listen to STAR SEEKER, and STAR SEEKER is amazing (even if I think the lyricist for it shouldn't be allowed to write English lyrics anymore). My favorite Ebi performance is their STAR SEEKER performance from Summary 2012, and the album version is pretty much that version of the song but with more parts to it. It's kind of funny to think that other times they've performed that song, they've pretty much only performed half of it. xD But all of the songs that hadn't been previously released on the bonus CDs with their DVD singles were really nice. I also especially liked HIGHER!FLY! because it's a really cool song yet I feel like I've never actually heard the full version before? Although I guess that's not uncommon when it probably mostly gets shoved into medleys...

That's part of why it's so great that Ebi finally released a CD album because although part of the appeal of doing DVD singles is to put the performance together with the song and sometimes there are parts of the song that don't totally make sense unless you see the performances, there are also times when hearing the full studio version makes you appreciate the songs even more. So I'm really glad Ebi released a CD and challenged only performing the music. ^^

I also like the bonus songs for the regular edition, especially 5 Rings. It's a pretty powerful song. And the DVD with the 5stars version was really fun to watch. I just watched it tonight, putting it in and thinking "Oh, it'll probably be about an hour..." No. Over two hours. ^^; Ebi can just talk forever. xD I loved how the staff couldn't hold back their laughter during Tsukada's interview and how the Ebi members wrote letters/questions to each other. They all looked so cute during the jacket making too. I also felt like I learned a bunch about their songs and history in the NogiMitsu part of the DVD.

Last weekend I bought an (imitation) leather jacket!

clothes )

I got TWO very exciting packages today!
#1: My Kisumai and Ebi calendars!
calendars )

#2 Kisumai single and androp album!
CDs )

All in all, today was a pretty exciting day. ^_^
xanithofdragons: (nino smirk)
I really like having mail to look forward to. ^^

Cut for images )

I also got my certificate for passing the N1 of the JLPT last week! I don't think I mentioned passing it before on LJ, but I did, somehow. Even after looking at the results online, I half-wondered if it was some kind of mistake and I didn't actual pass, but I have the certificate now and the official paper report.

Another big thing this week is, with the release of the Johnny's calendars, getting contact from CDJapan that they need to upgrade shipping for my order of Kisumai and Ebi's calendars (presumably because Kisumai's calendar is HUGE). >_< The shipping was just way more than I was willing to pay, so I decided to let the order be canceled and order through YesAsia instead, because even with YA's high-ish prices for the calendars, it's still less than paying for EMS shipping. But I'm a little worried because YA listed the availability for Ebi's calendar as "ships within 21 days" and I now have experience of YA's availability being... weird... sometimes. Let's just hope this all goes well and I can get both the calendars I want.
xanithofdragons: (Yokoo nekomimi)
There are just some months that have more Jpop releases than others, or at least some months that have more releases from groups I follow. March is one of those months:
March 5th: Kisumai's new single Hikari no Signal and androp's new album period
March 12th: Ebi's new album From ABC to Z
March 19th: Fudanjuku's new album Power of Wind
March 26th: Avex's sudden attempt to make lots of money fast Kisumai's single collection

That's right, every single week. What's more, an album, every single week. And the Johnny's calendars come out this month, too... So look forward to a lot of posts about new releases from me this month (and going into next month). ^^; This is why I'm so bad at saving money. orz
xanithofdragons: (HungaryDetermination)
Every season I think of making a post about which J-dramas I'm watching, and most seasons I never get around to it. ^^; We're at about the half-way point now, so it's been long enough to get a pretty good feel for everything I've been watching (and also about the time I usually start to get behind on some dramas and give up on some of the.) I'll go over the dramas I'm watching this season, including one I've already dropped and one I'm thinking about dropping. There are a couple others from this season I've been thinking about checking out, but I won't include those.

Includes spoilers )

So in short, SHARK is great, romance dramas are a crap-shoot, I like legal dramas and period dramas, and I watch a lot of mystery/police dramas.
xanithofdragons: (Yokoo nekomimi)
I'm really excited about Ebi's album! I already preordered both copies of it. ^^ The last time I bought more than one version of an album was with Kisumai's Kis-My-1st (but Kisumai releases 4 versions of each of their albums, so.... AVEX!!). I'm kind of glad they're including clearfiles as the bonus instead of posters this time because I'm running low on wallspace. ^^; I do kind of wonder about them apparently including every song that was released on the bonus CDs that came with certain editions of certain DVD single releases. On one hand, that means that no fan will have to "miss" these songs, while on the other, fans who bought all the versions with all the CDs might wonder: but what did I buy these for? Well, there was other content exclusive to each of those versions, so I wouldn't call it a waste. The 5stars version that'll only have 55,555 copies is pretty cute too.

It seems like Johnny's WEST already kind of strange debut might be about to get even stranger?Kind of worried but mostly confused )

...I give up. Naniwa Samurai Hello Tokyo!! starts tomorrow, so hopefully this can get cleared up with that and we'll have stage reports and fans can be excited over the songs they'll apparently be picking the debut song from.

I got my copies of TanaBota last week. I was really happy that even though I ordered the shop version through a different site from the one I ordered the other two, they came on the same day. \(^_^)/ I hadn't posted about it yet because I've been busy with work. Dang holiday season. >_< For the single overall... I dont' know. The song is still cute. The PV was... okay? There were cute parts and cool parts, but also, I don't know, boring parts? Parts I thought could have been done better or in a more interesting way? I think they did something interesting with the little "drama" scenes before and after the song part. The making wasn't as exciting as I expected although I really loved the part where the little girl was like, "But they're not ugly" and the director or whoever was like, "lol we all know". That was cute.

Ah well, I'm glad to have my Yokoo poster and the CD and the RE photo booklet. The pictures in that are really cool. ^_^ And I'm happy to be able to clearly hear Yokoo singing even if he's not very good at it. ^^

And there's one more thing I got that day:
Cut for another image )
I got Twinkle Twinkle A.B.C-Z, and with that, I have all five of A.B.C-Z's DVD singles. ^^ At least until they release more. I've been in a pretty big Ebi mood lately. Even though following multiple Johnny's groups means spending a lot of money on releases, one good thing about it is how easily I can go through different moods of focusing on each group more. It's useful when I want to take a break from other groups.

And even though I'd already seen all the stuff on the Twinkle Twinkle DVD, rewatching it gave me drabble inspiration. At the weirdest of places. So look forward to that in the probably distant future. It's been a while since I've posted fic. It's also been a while since I've posted any translations. orz When I have time again after Christmas, I want to clean up/finish some WataTai drabbles I have sitting around and post them. I could also work on finishing some translations I have sitting around.

And speaking of fic, I haven't bothered with it before since I mostly write drabbles and because I'm pretty good at grammar, but maybe I should look for people who are willing to beta for me. People who'd tell me if my characterization is off or if I'm being to vague or too wordy. Also people who'd tell me what warnings I need on my fic and can help me figure out ratings (g, pg, pg-13 etc.) because I always worry about that stuff.
xanithofdragons: (Perfume party)
I got a couple DVDs and a CD in on Friday.

Cut for picture )
I'd been thinking for a while that I wanted to buy one of A.B.C-Z's live DVDs and it was great! I haven't watched the tour documentary yet, but I was really impressed with their production. Also, I wasn't expecting all of them to do solos, so I was really happy to see all of them do solo performances too. Their communication with the fans also seemed so good!

I've also been thinking a while about getting Kisumai's earlier DVDs, too. The MINT DVD was the first Kisumai DVD I bought, so I'd been wondering about getting the Aeru de Show and debut concert DVDs too. I decided to get Aeru de Show first because it's pre-debut and it has Kis-My-Calling. It has Kis-My-Calling three times and everytime is beautiful. Live DVDs really are the best, though. They just all looked so so happy to be there and performing. I came really close to crying while they sang "Smile". It's such a pretty song, and they all looked so happy and were out amongst the fans. And, it's somehow amazing that the moment Kisumai found out they were going to debut is recorded on DVD like that. As a side note, I feel like I've gotten to a point where I'm at peace with Kisumai for now. ^_^

And the Eito best album... I don't know, I wanted to buy something else and I wanted this? I really like Kuruton. Even though I bought a limited edition, I haven't started watching the DVD yet at all. ^^; Next I should buy a NEWS album when I want to add something to an order and feel like buying something else I've been wanting for a while. xD I really like a lot of NEWS' songs.
xanithofdragons: (Perfume party)
I got my OMG DVD, Never My Love DVD, and Sakanaction album in the mail yesterday!

Cut for image )
I'm really glad it came on Monday. With my work schedule today and tomorrow, I wasn't sure when I'd be able to find a good time to sit down and watch through the OMG DVD if it came Tuesday or Wednesday. I watched all of it except for the multi-angles last night. Watching live DVDs is always such a great experience. If I were to recommend to a Johnnys fan the one type of goods that's most worth buying, I'd probably say live DVDs. You get the music, the member interaction, the performances. It's the best parts of Johnnys.

The Never My Love music video was really cute and had a nice story, but the shaky camera made it a little hard to watch at parts. >_< I know the camera person is running around a castle with A.B.C-Z, but I still can't stand a constantly shaking camera. The Like A Blow video was really cool! I still think it's really cute they named the limited editions "version A" and "version Z". Ebi, you are so adorable. But it is a little frustrating that there are two versions with different bonus CDs. I understand that they put different content on each version to try to get you to buy all the versions, but I still can't convince myself to buy multiple versions of a DVD... I still really really really keep hoping they'll release an actual album one of these days. They've done 5 of these singles already!

I haven't listened to the Sakanaction album yet, but I'm hoping to listen to it all today. ^_^
xanithofdragons: (Nocchi blue)
Hello new friends from the Johnny's friending meme! It's nice to meet you all. ^_^ I never really know what to write for intro posts, so I'll try to cover some information that I think is important about me, do something I've been thinking about doing for a little while, and then open the floor to questions.

I recently graduated from college with a BA in Japanese Language and Culture and am currently working part-time as a bakery clerk in a grocery store. The kind of job I want to do in the future is pretty much anything where I can use Japanese in my work, maybe as a translator or an interpreter or just someone who works in a company that does business in both Japan and America or other English speaking countries and occasionally has reason to use her bilingual skills.

I studied abroad in Japan my junior year of college and left my heart in Japan, in that I fell even more in love with Japan. I want more than anything to have a reason to go back in Japan and live there at least another year. I'm applying to the JET program and maybe to one or two similar programs. As for my Japanese fluency, I passed the N2 of the JLPT and am going to take the N1 this year and haven't studied nearly enough yet.

I think that's pretty good as an introduction of where I am right now in my life. The other thing I want to do in this post is a list of how many Johnnys singles, albums, and DVDs I have, by group and then total. ^^ When I have multiple versions I'll include a count not including multiple versions of the same release.

Cut for the count )

And that's just for Johnny's groups... And just the current count... xD I have other Jpop CDs, too, but not quite as many. ^^;

And lastly, I'll open the floor for questions. My introduction may have left out a lot of things you'd like to know, so ask me about what you want to hear about. Ask me any questions and as many questions as you like. New friends, friends who've been here longer. If I get enough questions, I'll make another post answering them. If I don't get many, I might just answer them in comments. Possible topics include (but are not limited to) my favorite x, how I got into x hobby or activity, what other hobbies I have, personal questions, stories from Japan (do not expect me to be a good story-teller), whatever you can think of. If it's something really personal, I might post about it in a locked post, but I definitely want to know what you all want to know about me.
xanithofdragons: (P4summer)
Today I had an interview for an receptionist/administrative assistant job. I've never driven on the high-way much, and it was in the Chicago area, so my brother drove me. >_< The interview was pretty early, so we left really early and arrived like 40 minutes before the scheduled time. ^^; I can't really tell how the interview went. I feel like I answered all the questions adequately, but I couldn't figure out what they were trying to figure out about me with the questions. Ah well, I got business cards this time though! Two guys interviewed me and they both gave me their business cards.

So my brother and I had decided to go to Mitsuwa afterwards since it was close to the company I was interviewing at. I bought a few magazines.
Cut for images, one NSFW )

I keep forgetting to set my camera back to a lower picture quality, and then I end up uploading larger image files than I meant to. xD But I set it back after realizing while writing this post.
xanithofdragons: (guy with fruit & veggies)
I got hired for a part-time job this week! I'll be working as a bakery clerk at a grocery store. My brother works there already, and he recommended it as a good place to work part-time. After a phone-screening, I got called to the store to sign off on a background check last week, and on Tuesday I had an interview and was hired. I had a sort of training/orientation yesterday which was mainly sitting at a computer and watching a bunch of videos for like 3 hours. ^^; At least it was a paid training. It seems like I'll have on-the-job training starting from next week, though.

But timing is weird. >_< The day after I got hired, I got a call from a recruiter from a bilingual recruiting agency I've been in contact with, and I now have an interview set up for a week from Monday for a full-time entry level position. The company apparently wants to hire someone very quickly, and were thinking about setting up an interview before the week ended, but there was no way I could get down to the Chicago area with only a day or two's notice. ^^; And then because the person interviewing would be out next week, the soonest time is the week after that.

I was really excited to hear about Fujigaya doing a nude in anan. So excited that I had to order it the day I heard about it. It's shipped out, so I'm waiting for it to arrive. Waiting... I figured if anyone from Kisumai would do a nude shoot, it would be Fujigaya, but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. ^_^ But, the page where I bought it says it comes with a DVD. Is it going to be like the last anan sex issue I bought (2011's) and come with a sample of AV? xD There's more than just Fujigaya's naked body to look forward to here. >:3

Also, because I like to buy more than one item when I'm ordering things online from Japan, I also decided to get the September issue of Duet since I saw pictures of Kisumai being super-cuddly and talking about the distance between their hearts (not even exaggerating), and I also decided to get A.B.C-Z's 5stars DVD because I only have one of their DVD singles and where better to start adding than the first? I also really wish A.B.C-Z could hurry up and release an album (an actual album, not a mini-album that only comes with LE's!).
xanithofdragons: (jadetea)
Recently I started watching A.B.C-Z's J's Journey in Australia and I got really into it. ^_^ I had watched the first episode of Mitsu's J's Journey, but I never really got into it. Maybe I just like watching group trips better than solo trips. >_<

Recently, I've also watched a couple of trips V6 did in 2005 for Gakkou e Ikou, too, so that makes me think even more that maybe I like group trips better. They're so funny! They had to drive around in a van on vacations in regions of Japan, and the best parts are just them goofing around in the van while driving. xD

With group trips, it doesn't feel that different from them in a variety show or them on behind-the-scenes footage. Also, I'm not all that interested in travel. Like, I like the idea of traveling to different countries all over the world, and if I'm taken sight-seeing, I can enjoy it, but I prefer living and working or studying in a foreign country to sight-seeing.

...Maybe that's also why I have a huge backlog of Moshimo Tours episodes...
