Kisumai meme! A couple of my friends did it, and I sort of wanted to answer it, but it is a rough time to be a Kisumai fan. Kisumai's the only group I follow closely that really frustrates me. >_<

First is first, who's your favorite? Yokoo!
Who's sexiest? Fujigaya? At least he's the one who tries hardest to do "sexy" xD
Cutest? Probably Nika-chan.
Funniest? Miyacchi? IDK They're kind of funniest interacting as a group. But I do really want fans to know more about all of Yokoo's silly moments xD
Best smile? Uh... I can't think of anyone whose smiles stand out. Maybe Yokoo's smiles when he's too happy to hold back and shows off his lovely long canines. Or Gaya's natural super-happy smiles when he's with Yokoo...
Best dancer? Senga
Best voice? If it's singing voices, I can't decide due to... lack of evidence. But speaking voices... Gaya's is pleasant to listen to, especially on their radio show.
Favourite song (group)? It was Tabidachi no Uta for a while, but I might be leaning towards Luv Sick or Motetai ze Tonight.
Favourite performance? Maybe that time when they performed Shake It Up on ShoKura and were being all cool and sexy on chairs and sofas.
Favourite non-perf moment? Probably when they all cross-dressed for the Watering Kiss Mint CM. xD I really like cross-dressing, okay?
Favourite costumes? Uh, the first thing I think of is their member color outfits from the MINT tour.
Favourite solo? Maria
Who should be the next one to get a solo? I know Senga's performed solo songs before, but I really want him to have an album solo. Senga's so under-utilized in terms of singing and dancing. If I can't pick Senga, I think a Miyacchi solo would be cool.
If you had to choose one, who would you want to meet? I'd love to meet Gaya and we could talk about how much we like Yokoo. xD
Who would you have most fun with? ~~Gaya, as we talk about how much we love Yokoo~~ Miyacchi seems like he'd be easy to get along with.

Between the last time I posted and now, I watched the Ooku movie, once raw and once with subtitles. Loved it. I also showed it to a friend of mine and her friend, and I'm not really sure what they thought of it... Oh well.

Also, Friday night, I wore a collar at a party, and it was pretty fun. :3

Back on Monday (yeah, I know, it took me forever to post about it...)I got my copy of Arashi's Scene concert dvds in the mail. I don't want to make a long post right now, so I'll just say that it's amazing. Now I'm resisting mentioning my favorite parts, 'cause that would just be too many. :P

I also used it some to try to corrupt my friend who's been showing interest in Arashi more into being an Arashi fan. She knows their names now! (Not their full names yet, but I'll work on it.) She called Jun "Nancy-boy haircut" before knowing his name while I was showing her really good parts of the concert. It's always the hair with Jun for people, I think. ^^

Have you ever reached the limit on the subject line before? It's fun to do.

First, cool-ass video here. Why am I watching this on a Chinese streaming site, you ask? Because that's the only place I could find it. At least using google video search it is. Enjoy.

just_bolognese both did a meme which listed a bunch of characters from tv shows, books, and movies, asking which ones the meme-taker would have sex with and which ones they would not touch with a ten-foot pole. Now, this would be a fun meme to do and all, but I don't actually know most of the characters, making it significantly less fun-seeming.

So instead, to celebrate/mourn the end of my winter break, just classic "fuck, marry, throw off a cliff"! Give me three people (fictional characters, celebrities, you know the drill) and I will sort them using the above parameters.

Keep in mind that I am equal opportunity, but if you give me people I don't know, they will probably just go off the cliff. Ask as many as you want, and don't be shy! It makes me sad when I do interactive memes and people don't comment. T_T

^_^ Today I got to wear my new yukata! No pics, though, sorry. Although I can't recall another time when I've had so many people wanting to take my picture. ^^ But my legs still hurt a little from standing so much, not really knowing how to sit in a yukata, and learning the kimono walk.

I also watched episode one of Furiitaa, Ie wo Kau this evening... and only understood maybe a fourth? a third? of it because I was watching the raw. But it's okay, because there's a scene in it which anyone can enjoy regardless of their knowledge of Japanese. ~~And I'm not even talking about the scene involving Ninomiya with wet hair. Or the one involving him lying in the mud.~~ Also because I was still able to get the main points of most of what anyone was saying. I'd figured I'd mostly be able to understand it, since we've been watching some drama in our Japanese class, and I've mostly been able to understand them. At least the main points... with the teacher explaining things. Anyway, strides forward in my Japanese education!

So now I want to play BlazBlue... I'll figure out some solution for this. I think I'll have to end up getting a PS3 sometime, so I've decided that I'll get the PS3 version of Sengoku Basara 3 when it comes out. I know I'm a lot stingier than a lot of people and a lot more conservative with my money than a lot of people, but it still feels bad to think about spending so much of it. (Case in point.)

Today I decided to read some. So, starting in the early afternoon, with a book I was less than halfway through, I read it the rest of the way through, with about two brief breaks... It's nice that I can have time to read like this. ^_^ Also nice to have something to read. When it comes to actual books, I feel like I'm kind of lacking in reading material. Not that I need recommendations. It just feels like my access to fiction books is limited while I'm at school.

I am surprised and a little disappointed that none of you gave me any female options for the above meme.

So yesterday, I was showing some clips from 5x10 to my brother and his fiancée. Highlights:
- Amongst my family, Jun has become somewhat known as "the one with the hair."
- My brother thinks that out of all the members of Arashi, Jun is the one most likely to be gay. I then shared my belief that Jun learned everything he knows about romance from shoujo manga.
- Aiba's performance of PIKA☆NCHI makes Aiba gain significant cool/awesome points in my heart and mind. I want to watch it over and over again.

Also yesterday, my brother and his fiancée announced that they want to delay their wedding because of financial problems with both of our families and some fighting in her family about it. My parents support this decision, since it was her mother who was pushing them to get married faster anyway. I'm pretty happy about this, since I've been thinking for a while that they're not ready to get married yet anyway.

Since I've already said a lot in this post, I think I'll talk about this week's SenBasa episode tomorrow. Later.

Recently, I've been enjoying this song and video rather a lot. That may say a lot about me, actually. This too. Such a good angst song. It seems I've been listening to more kpop recently, by which I mean coming across songs I like on youtube and favoriting the videos to watch multiple times.

Today I watched the movie Dororo together with other students of Japanese at this summer program I'm still doing... I'm kind of ready for it to be done, actually. Anyway, ( Fangirling, and not all of it mine this time )

I'm growing more and more in love with the Genki textbooks day by day. Today I came to the conclusion that one of the practice exercises is in fact based around a love triangle involving Yamada, Smith, and Youko. I also love how absurd it can be and how aware it is of its own absurdity. One of our exercises came with this explanation: "You have been involved in a car accident and have lost all your memory. (For some reason you can speak Japanese.) You are at the hospital and your doctor will ask you the questions below. Answer them using ~か（どうか）わかりません." I'm also happy about learning this grammar. I've been wondering how to say things like these in Japanese for ages!

Today I went to the mail center and happened to meet my academic advisor. I didn't know that he was around, so that was sort of a pleasant surprise. He ended up telling me a little bit about an article he wrote this summer and ended up using the term "frienemies" to describe two Japanese poets. I was amused.

This happened a while again, and I never mentioned it. My parents sent me a stuffed bunny for Easter, and I decided to name name it Metis. <3 For those of you who don't get the reference, go read Honeydew Syndrome. The characters are all such wonderful geeky dorks that I can't help but love it. I kinda suck at explaining why things are awesome, but really, it's good!

In news in my life: I played a table-top rpg for the first time. It was so much fun, and I look forward to doing it more, very soon. ^_^ Also, I beat the elite four in Soul Silver today. I had to use so many healing items... ^^

Starting on Friday, I will be going to Acen. I wasn't able to put a cosplay together, but I should still be able to have a lot of fun.

Somehow or another, I've been spending my last few days with some of the most awesome people I know, yo, preparing for Acen next week and everything. Today I went shopping. There was some manga I was so excited to see that I went ahead and bought it. I bought volumes 1 and 2 of Ōoku by Yoshinaga Fumi, since I trust anything by her to be quality work and since I had already heard about it a little on the internet because of the movie they're making for it. I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie, especially after having read it. Nino playing Mizuno. <3 It's so exciting to know who he'll be now. The decision made in the translation to have them speak in such an old form of English kind of jarred me at first, but I got used to it while reading... ^^

I also bought volume 1 of Bokurano by Kito Mohiro. That was especially exciting for me to happen upon, since I hadn't even heard that it had been licensed!

Edit: Apparently I was so tired last night that I completely forgot to mention that I also bought Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. So yeah.
