I like getting mail
Jul. 17th, 2008 04:24 pmAt long last, my AP test scores arrived in the mail. 5's on both tests, so I'm pleased. I was really excited when I first saw the scores, but now that a couple of hours have passed, my feelings are more "meh" about it, I suppose. How sad that the excitement has passed. :< Anyway, my hands were shaking when I looked at my other mail. As can be expected, it was college mail.
Harvard sent me something, which I can summarize as: You should consider looking at us. Here's why! Also, financial aid! It's the typical blah blah blah stuff, but I suppose it's strange for me to have actually read all of it, considering it was a three-page long letter and I have no intention of actually considering Harvard. The letter also mentioned that Harvard will mail me some "packet of material, including an application." It makes me sad that I'll be wasting all that paper they bothered to send me. :<
The other mail for me today was a letter from Knox College thanking me for sending them my SAT scores. I find it amusing that the admission counselor wrote me a note on the bottom of the letter, although I guess it's a good sign, since she said the scores "look great" and that she's "looking forward to reading [my] application."
My friend's holding a party to watch the Avatar finale, so I caught up on the episodes from the third book. The beach episode was very entertaining. Catching up on them made me realize that Avatar is quite humorous. I really liked seeing the interaction between Zuko and Aang in The Firebending Masters. Sokka's Master was really funny. Lol, watching so many episodes so quickly has made it inconvenient for me to actually describe my reaction to all of them. :< At least through to the finale on Saturday, I'll be watching them as they come out.
In other news, I need to clean out the icons I don't use and get new ones. Also, summer must be really boring for me to actually write about my daily life on lj. Madness!
