No really, I'm still a gamer...
Jul. 22nd, 2010 11:47 pmIt's video game related news time! Now, if you're a Tales of fan, you've probably already heard this by now, but Bandai licensed the Tales of the Abyss anime. <3 Now for the long wait before actually figuring out when they're gonna release this. My odds of buying it would honestly go down significantly if there were a dub with significant casting differences from the game's (so let's all hope that doesn't happen, because I love Abyss forever and ever). Especially if they were Kirk Thornton-related casting differences.
Also, I came across a really fun game recently. Recettear! It's a fun independently made Japanese game that's being localized and distributed in English. If you just look at that site, you can tell how much love that localization company has for that game. They only have a demo version up currently, but just from playing that, I knew that this would be a really enjoyable game.
You play as a girl named Recette who is forced to pay back the debt her missing father left her by opening an item shop, with help from the fairy, Tear, the collection agent for her debt.
