曇りのない 思いがもう 鍵をその手に握らせてるよ
Nov. 15th, 2012 11:47 pmIn writing, the beginning is important, isn't it? The opening, the overall direction of the written work.
In a paper I had a lot of trouble with a couple of weeks ago, I didn't write the introduction until pretty close to turning it in. From the beginning I didn't know what I wanted to write or where I wanted to go with the paper, so it was difficult to write. It became a bunch of disjointed points.
And more recently, when trying to write my statement of purpose for the JET application, it was hard to write until I came up with a good opening. It solidified the direction of the whole thing and the things I wanted to write started to flow out. It's still hard, and I'm still a slow writer, but it makes things easier.
