立ち上がる街の若者は 昇りゆく太陽にウィンクした
Nov. 21st, 2012 11:49 pmThis year is the first year since entering college that I'll spend Thanksgiving with my family. I went to a school far from home and Thanksgiving break starts the day of Thanksgiving and only goes to the following Sunday, making it not really worth it to go all the way home. That took care of the first two years. Then around between sophomore and junior year, they moved into the same state where I was attending college, but I still couldn't spend Thanksgiving with my family because I was in Japan, lol. Then, senior year, I'm back in America, and home's close enough to make it worth going home for the few days of Thanksgiving break we get.
So I'm at home now. I'll see how it goes. No likely stressors in sight so far. Breaks on campus feel like time has slowed down because hardly anyone's there, but breaks at home feel faster somehow. Either way, it's never enough time to do what I want to do, is it?
