Well, I guess I don't really know how hard it'll actually be. We're learning some honorific verbs/verb forms this chapter and then some modest and humble verb forms next chapter. It's just that I feel like I already knew enough of the basics for most of what we're learning this chapter by the end of first year. Although I can understand wanting to teach about くれる and あげる before this.

I suppose I could list everything we've learned up till now, but I guess you're asking about this chapter. The honorific verbs and stuff I don't know how to say well without just telling you the forms. お + verb stem + ください; てform + くれてありがとう, which I was kind of expecting after learning てform + すみません; てform + よかったです, and はずです. So aside from honorific forms, mostly pretty straightforward stuff, which makes sense since they'd want to pound honorific forms in as much as possible and not worry too much about other things.
