Snow and Ohayocon
Feb. 3rd, 2009 08:06 pmMore heavy snow in my area. Surprise surprise. It was crazy when I was driving home from school. Not the snow, that is, but the drivers... It took me nearly two hours to get home when it usually takes less than ten minutes.
( blah blah snow blah blah )
I went to Ohayocon this past weekend with some friends from school. It was my first anime convention, so it was an exciting experience. My parents were actually so kind as to be chaperones for us at the hotel, so I'm really grateful to them for that. Also, I've learned that they trust me rather a lot (from my mom repeatedly telling me that she trusts me.) I cosplayed as Hungary from Axis Powers Hetalia on Saturday and Sunday, and a few people actually recognized me! Of course, most of this happened as I was waiting in line to get lunch on Saturday when I was both really tired and really hungry, so I barely remember it. But I was able to meet the wonderful Canada cosplayer
pallasathene87! Hello! I hope to get to know you better and talk with you more. I'd talk more about the con, but I already spent so much time rambling on about the weather that I think for now I'll just say that I had a good time.
