My wisdom teeth were removed today. What I have learned from this experience: beef broth is delicious.

My mom, who's also taken everyone else in our family to get their wisdom teeth removed, said that I was like, the least loopy/out of it one of everyone she's taken. I even remember some things from when I was sitting waiting for them to say it was okay for me to leave. I am good at this. (What I am good at, however, I do not know.) Also, there is relatively little pain! I only get pain really when I open my mouth too wide. I'll see how things go in the next couple of days, though.

Regardless, I'm so glad that's over, although I still have to go back for a follow up.

Yeah, dry socket is kinda scary sounding, but if I just keep drinking I should be fine.

I think I'm recovering pretty well. I was in a considerable amount of pain this morning, but after taking the painkillers they prescribed, I was totally okay and can eat solid food with minimal annoyance.

YES, I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO HANG OUT WITH YOU FOR SO LONG. The only time I'm busy next week is a my follow visit for the wisdom teeth on Thursday, which is around 4:30 pm, I think, so I'll probably be free that evening. Also, I will probably be visiting a graduation party on Sunday in the early afternoon.

Yes, it is sad that Two Keys only updates on Wednesdays now, but Nuu is also working on Ten Thousand Flags with Schumie, so that makes up for it a little.

I'm sure that as the days are going by that you're finding that eating is getting easier. It's a very slow march to recovery. It almost took me a full week after my wisdom teeth were removed >.<.

And dry socket....ergh. I think I still have a bit of one in my lower jaw. I think I should mention that the next time I have a dentist appointment. Don't worry about it too much, though. As long as you don't prolong cleaning them, they should be fine.

It's actually been pretty quick for me, I've been able to eat pretty normally for days already. ^_^ The only real problem is trying to keep food away from those holes back there, and even that isn't too much of a concern by now.
